'Looking for Cancun Experts/Writers' Cancun

We are a new website looking for writers who might like to contribute short articles related to Cancun and the Mayan Riviera.

If you'd be interested in writing around 500 words (objective and exclusive), we would be happy to place a link to your site and/or email as well as a description of your services at the bottom of the article.

Topics of Interest: market trends, real estate analysis, tips for buyers, etc. as well as local information and activities like scuba diving, volunteer opportunities and fine dining.

About us: Our site is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive and objective real estate reviews in Mexico while helping expats integrate in positive ways. We are planning to syndicate our content and are currently ramping up for wider release including optimization and an advertising campaign which should help increase exposure.

Is this job offer only restricted to Cancun alone? I am sure there are many willing writers out there and if this restriction holds, they would easily be locked out.

Is this one of those making money online gigs? If that is so then count me in. what requirements do you need and where can we sign up? Do we just have to e-mail you or are there any websites to sign up on. I do hope you can respond to these inquiries of ours. Also, like what Isaac asked, is this exclusive for people living in Cancun or do we just have to research and write about it. Do reply here. Thanks.

Let me dissect and analyze this offer. Let me just quote this line from the original message "we would be happy to place a link to your site and/or email as well as a description of your services at the bottom of the article.". This probably mean that in exchange for the 500 post is a free advertising to your blog or website and this is going to serve as the payment. If my analysis is correct. Not to mention Mr. Jed here failed to list the requirements of the job. If indeed that he is interested in hiring writers then I believe he would be more specific with the requirements. So my verdict? A fraud!
