Save yourself trouble and DO NOT shop at Plaza Caracol in Cancun. There is a large family that owns most of the jewelry stores and they are cheating everyone and laughing at Americans afterward. They sell fake Rolex watches. They are not to be trusted.
Do not shop at Sol y luna, A-2 Jewelers (next to Savio's Resaurant) or Eturnus for starters.
You can buy the things they peddle in the US for less.
These are bad people.
