I am looking for hand carve architectural elements like columns and capitals and wood beams. I am also looking for primitive folk art, in the Chihuahua area. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

My neighbour makes hand-made wood columns and furniture. Not so cheap as good quality products. Kind of hacienda style.Adress : Calle Mendez 2201 Colonia Pacifico Facing the Chepe train station. Name of the owner : Hector. He is used to export furnitures every week by truck to the USA. In Creel, you may just give our own design and people will make it for you for very cheap. I had bunk beds, tables and chairs made in Creel. Extremely heavy (chairs may weigh 80 pounds), quality "mas o menos", rather rustic. More "campestre" style. Best regards Philippe

Mike, did you try doing a web search on the items you are looking for, I am sure you'd be able to find what your looking for that way.

I agree with Brian. Everything is possible in internet, all of your questions if properly addressed and searched would be supplied in just a nick of time. Just have patience there buddy and search. I am sure you wil find the answer to your query and find more than your asking :). You know there are also useful blog entries that can help you. Just keep looking. Hope you'll find that primitive folk art.

What the majority of you have said is really true. Philippe, does your said friend have a sort of website or gallery where the work can be sampled. You are speaking as his friend so it is possible that you will omit certain sensitive information.I guess the best solution to finding answers would be surfing but I doubt not everyone normally has the time. Trust me, it never gets very easy to do some simple tasks when working on a tight schedule. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
