What is the number one holiday in Mexico. Do they celebrate Christams like most of the world? Does anyone know some of the more popular holidays in Mexico?

They celebrate christmas as Feliz Nave Da or whatever, and yea I would have to say it is their number one holiday, its kinda like our christmas, but only they have a bigger celebration. Theirs is more of a party than of a gift exchange.

Thank to catholic and christian influences, Christmas is now celebrated all over the world just like new year.

I believe that I was told in my spanish class back in 9th grade (2002) that the big holiday in Mexico is there Halloween. I think I was taught that they go all out for there Halloween, and I know its called something else, but I cant remember what. I also believe that its not on the same date as our halloween, but its before or after it. Am I correct, is this the number one holiday celebrated in Mexico?

The lovely and mysterious country of Mexico. I've heard some mazing stories about that place. Not to mention the one about the donkey and the lady. Oh my goodness! The ancient sites though, are always an amazing something to gaze upon, and Mexico does have a very interesting culture. As a cultural lover, I must visit there before I depart. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
