I bet it also leads in being the only kind of activity that has united all the masses across the globe.Mexico's history with respect to sport is indeed rich. Although not mainstream, ice hockey is another popular spert there. The mesoamerican ball game has too been in the scene for over 3, 000 years. What details are there about how traditional sports emerged? |
| Really, i thought that basketball rules the sports arena. I think it depends on the country you are in, Like with Mexico as you have said, soccer is the big thing right? And to add up i think all sports must be highlighted and be given the chance to shine and let us not be confined on what is the fad is. Let us try something new and explore the other kind of sports. |
| Soccer ruling the world? Well, I don't know about this. Probably if you are leaving at the southern American regions, it might be but the general populace, I believe that basketball is still the world's most popular sports of all time. This assumption is without a basis. Imagine, basketball does not require that much of a large team unlike soccer; does not require a large playing field; and the learning curve is a lot more easier than soccer that is why most children who'll eventually grow into the next fans or athletes, considers basketball as their favorite sports. |
