I am a practicing podiatrist in chicago illinois and would like to relocate in the puerto vallarta area, and would like get a podiatry or medical license in mexico, how do a go about doing this?

If anyone knows I have a friend who is a medical doctor who is thinking of moving back to be closer to family in Mexico. The would also like to know what kind of medical license is needed.

I know a lot of Mexican medical professionals received their training from American Institutions and have Expat American partners. There are great stories about amazing work being done there with regard to pharmaceuticals and surgery that the American system will not allow for one reason or another.

Have you folks made contact with Mexican doctors that might be your rivals/colleagues yet?

I am curious, now. What procedures are allowed in Mexico that are not allowed in the USA? What medications are allowed in Mexico, but are not allowed n the USA?
