Sounds like a good way to get ever scamster in Cameroon and beyond emailing you!

I live about 20 miles north of Tecate Mexico. Please just leave our wildlife alone for gawd's sake. Get yourself a domestic animal to play games with. Wild animals should be free!!!!

Why are you guys interested in racoons? They are not intended for domestication as pets. Why don't you try cats, birds or dogs? For Povlova,
Are you for real? Wasting $ 300 for a feeding bottle just for the racoon? You can do a lot of good money with that money. People can be sometimes so insensitive. There are many dying children and requires institution worldwide which requires attention but you? Geez!
Shada, she doesn't want to buy a bottle for the raccoon for $300. She wants to buy a raccoon that is bottle fed! Read the entry, get it right! And yeah, a cat, bird, or dog would be a better pet. But maybe she just wants to have something different and unique. Dogs, birds, and cats were all just wild life animals at one point. There is nothing wrong with having a raccoon as a pet. i hope you find one soon Pavlova.. Let me know if you do.
Sonia, are you talking of a raccoon? I'm sure some of these people would be interested since there all talking about having raccoons for pets. Don't raccoons have rabies and aren't they usually mean?
Wouldn't it be really dangerous and unsafe to have a baby RACCOON (you guys ALL spelled it wrong) for a pet? Also, is it even legal to have a pet raccoon?

There' something called a magic box. Using this, one can obtain a United States telephone number and make calls from other countries using that number.
Comment #13 Mexican Expat from Mexico City, Mexico (Contact Member) -
It's hardly "magic." It's simple VOIP (Voice over IP).
From someone warning the rest to keep off Mexico's wildlife to where these exotic pets can be found, the direction whatever step would take wholly depends on whether domestication of raccoons is allowed in whatever place you reside in. It would beat logic to adopt a 'wild animal' but then again, who says they were born to stay in the wild. I would be cautious about having these as pets because of the obvious fear that they could wander to their wild ways.
I have heard of pet scam from a poster that wanted to get a pet from Cameroon. True, why spend 300 bucks in getting a raccoon? You can get better value for your money by settling for a better option that is obviously cheaper.
Racoons are dear little cuddly creatures that love to sleep with you and maybe lick your arm sometimes. I know a guy who will even give you one. I will check to see if his racoon had a litter lately.Come to think of it, you can try a skunk, they are easy to get and also real chummy little creatures. You don´t even have to go to Mexico to get one.
Wow! I did not know that the magic box was really, VoIP! That's really funny now that I think about it.
Comment #18 Eve (63.176.159.161) - 12/06/09 19:28
Look at how long it has been since the "magic box" has been out, and I have only now learned of it as being VoIP. This is some new stuff, indeed.
Comment #19 Eve (63.176.159.198) - 12/14/09 14:03
I wish I had known about it before, but anyway, due to this forum I now know, so I am not upset at all, not even in the least bit. In fact, I am one hundred percent satisfied that I now know what it really is.

Hmmm. Those raccoons are indeed a nice pet idea. They are cute and undoubtedly loving animals. I would also want one as pet. Where can I adopt a raccoon? thanks a lot.
Comment #21 Ramon (63.176.159.8) - 01/19/10 07:33
I think it is not a good idea if you go for raccoons as pets. They need extra attention compared to taking care of usual pets such as dogs and cats. But I think if you really want to adopt one, you have to make sure that you can sustain all its needs and what can make it feel comfortable. Good luck to your raccoon adopting and choose wisely on what pet to pick.
Comment #22 controversy (63.176.159.102) - 02/11/10 19:58
I hate raccoons so much, how could you have one as a pet? They are of the most disgusting things that we can encounter when out in the thick brush of the world. Savage and dangerous with their disease carrying selves.
