best suv to bring to Mexico?

Thank author of this post/commentMy wife and I are acquiring a condo in Puerto Vallarta and I am thinking of obtaining an FM3 retirement visa in order to bring in an SUV from Canada. I understand that as long as I maintain Mexican insurance on the vehicle I don't have to register it in Mexico and can rely on my Canadian license plates. I also understand that I can allow relatives visiting from the US and Canada drive my car from time to time but cannot allow Mexicans drive the car. As used car prices are higher in Mexico I am wondering what SUV I should bring from a repair and service point of view - Ford Escape, CRV or?
