What is the state of the computer industry in mexico? How about computer reapir centers? are there a lot of small mom and pop shops like in the US? How about a non-citizen running one?

I think that any computer store would be a good investment. People are ALWAYS running into problems with their computers. I also think that if you are a U.S. citizen and college graduate with a computer degree you would do very well business wise.

I concur with Toby over the computer industry being one that is never getting saturated. People get into problems with simple computer repairs that do not require expertise and do you know who gets to fix it? A person like you with little or no professional experience.

If I were you, I would not bother a lot about whether there are computer stores owned by non-residents..I would simply chance on the idea and start my own.
