Hello Mexicans, I would appreciate it if any of you could assist me with a response to the following Mexican related question. Why do mexicans have a wedge of lime in their Corona? Many thanks F4F

Wasup frankee, My uncle Rico told me that the reason for the lime is that hop compounds degrade when they come into contact with light. This causes beer in clear bottles to turn 'skunky.' The lime is used to mask this aroma. Hope this helps Pedro
