I have heard that gas prices are going up all over and have seen them skyrocket in the USA.

What are the gas prices like in Mexico? I haven't heard anything indicating they are feeling the pinch like other countries are.

Are gas prices climbing in Mexico too?

I don't think they are. And try not to forget that gas is more expensive in Europe, than in the US. That's why we don't get it when you guys complain, we've had high prices since forever, and we can manage.

I just saw an article that saying that a few people living close to the Mexican border are slipping in to buy cheap gas, then returning tho their homes in California or Texas.

I don't know hos true this is, but it seems counter productive to use the gas to get back home!

Prices have been rediculous. I don't know how much longer they expect us to survive like this.

I have a feeling that there is a goal behind the rise in gas prices.

I am sure that I am not the only person thinking this way.

LOL

No, you are definitely not the only one thinking that way that is for sure :-)

I saw a speech by Bush today, and he was saying how disappointed with governments who subsidize gasoline for their citizens because ti doesn't encourage alternatives.

I can't figure out why our president things we deserve to be hurt in order to create change, but he obviously feels that way, just looking at this attitude.

He would rather we all suffer and insist we allow more drilling, than help people switch to alternative forms of energy for transportation.

Is it just me?

Americans can sometimes be focused just on themselves. We just don't think about the cost of things in Europe. I admit I don't. The problem is, we all are more concerned with our own survival. Gas here was at $4.59. That's crazy. It's down to $4.31 today, but that's still crazy. It's hard to even envision something higher being the norm elsewhere, even if it's probably going to become our norm!

Yea, I admit, we don't think about it that much. It's just how it is. But still, I'd love to have a low price like in America.
