'Economic crisis effects...on Mexican Expat travel...' Travel

Hello Mexico forum users,

I am the finance reporter for The News, Mexico's biggest English-language paper.

I am interested to see how the economic crisis is effecting expat holiday travels.

Ex:

1. Have you had to cancel plans to go see relatives abroad? Vice versa?

2. How is the weakening of the peso effecting your current travel plans?

3. Has the U.S. crisis prevented anyone from visiting you this season?

Yes, I have canceled my visit to my mother in Mexico city cause I won't have enough cause my working hours was deliberately clipped.

2. How is the weakening of the peso effecting your current travel plans?

I was good for my mother cause she's receiving a monthly dollar pension.

3. Has the U.S. crisis prevented anyone from visiting you this season?

Well nobody visits me for the seasons, I guess nobody would cause of the credit problems
