| retiring in Mexico on $1000 per month Veracruz, MexicoJerry Carlin from transending -
Help!! my wife for 40 years is going to leave me! she has given me one year to figure out what I am to do (she is nice)! She wants a retirement community and I need to be doing something. We have grown apart. She will get most of everythin (of course!) and I will have about $50, 000 and $1, 000 per month, plus whatever my steel art can bring in. what to do? what to do? I need to be doing something, building or welding or writing, or gardening. I don't play golf or socialize much with those that do. Is there a place in Mexico for me? Trackbacks

Hi Jerry, Another really nice place is Zihuatanejo on the Pacific Coast. You could live quite comfortably in Mexico on that monthy income. You look like an interesting guy and you will meet lots of interesting people in Mexico. Your wife is crazy not to go with you. I'd go!! ana

Please email me information regarding apartments to rent or house to rent in Veracruz, Veracruz. Apartments or houses MUST HAVE air conditioning and dishwashers.Muchas gracias Gregorio

This post is about retiring on $1, 000 a month... and now we're talking about dishwashers and and air conditioning!I thin it is more common to have a dishwasher that comes to your house every morning, ie: a maid... than a machine that pretends to wash your dishes.

All decisions based on retirement must be taken well in advance so that we can plan other things based on this.

My advice to you is to have vacation in Caribbean Islands. There are so many places to visit, enjoy and have fun. If I'm on your shoes, I'll tour around the world and try something new.

I am trying to find a small village to retire to. I would really like to find 20 to 30 acres of pasture land so that I can raise a few head of cattle. I don't want a tourist area or by the beach, the smaller the village the better. I am not well off or weathly, but I do have some savings. I think the idea of being a small farmer with some cattle, pigs, chickens and a large garden area, is great, just what I am looking for, almost self sufficent. Any ideas or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Louie

Does $1, 000.00 per month include everything from housing to entertainment? It sounds pretty low to me.How long will things stay that cheap if more people retire in Mexico, though. Sooner or later, businesses will raise their prices to enjoy m ore profit from "wealthy" Americans.
